It has a total of 48 RJ45 connectors and simply installs in-line on each RJ45Cat5e/6 cable. The in-line installation is a very easy and straight forward. Unit protects up to 24 differentEthernet devices like switches, routers, laptops/PCs, etc from damaging surges caused by lightning orstatic electricity upto 6KV. Moreover, each port is isolated from others and will not fail the entire rack ifsome of ports are damaged which its LED is off.
